World Food Day is in two weeks and we are coming together with various orgs to bring an impactful day for the community to combat food insecurity!

We are now entering South Florida’s growing season so come and join us as we prepare the land for fall
-This is a great opportunity to come and learn the steps to prepare a mini farm from creating grow rows to planting seedlings
-There will also be a food distribution for anyone in need of produce and groceries w/ @foodrescueus.soflo @juniorleaguemiami
-Cleaning our fruit orchard and planting new trees w/ @bettersouthfl
-Setting up our composting station w/ @compostforlife
-Building a chicken coop and bee box
-Repainting some of the walls with @lushyart
-meals provided by @chefrichardmiami

We are also featuring booths with resources and info on how to get involved w/ @gamebredyouth @smiletrustinc @blackmenbuildmiami @healthinsurancenavigation
