Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Skipping your next pickup is very simple. Head to our portal and use your credentials to login to your account. Once you’ve signed in, click on the calendar icon all the way to the right. Upon clicking this icon, you’ll see all your upcoming service dates listed. Next to every date, you’ll see the option to skip that service. Click on the date you’d like to skip and you’re good to go. You can also answer “SKIP” to our automated SMS that are sent the night before your service day.

*We don’t offer credit for skipped service dates

  • This means that when our driver passed by your stop, the bucket was not there. We sent out emails and SMS the night before your service day reminding you to put the buckets out by 7AM. You can log into your portal to check your next service date.

Make sure to have your notifications on so you can receive an email every time we pass by your stop.

  • If you forget the place your bucket outside your status will be marked as missing. We do reschedule pick service dates as we have different routes every day of the week. You can log into your portal and check your next service date.

  • Our routes change every week according to the amount of stops, traffic flow, accidents, etc. We are nit able to give you an estimate window. This is why we ask that you leave your bucket out in the morning. Our driver will pass by during different times of the day according to the specific day and route. We want to be in and out so that our drivers can complete their route. Therefore, we are not able to contact you, knock your door, or text you. Please plan accordingly and contact us if you have any questions.

  • If your bucket happens to get lost or is stolen, a $20 fee will be charged to send you a replacement bucket. Please contact us to notify us and we will be glad to send you a replacement bucket.

  • This fee is to cover the time our driver might spend finding a parking space, checking in at the front desk, or going up the elevator. The Door Service fee does not mean that our driver will personally contact you. You are responsible for leaving your bucket outside your doorstep. If the bucket is not outside by the time our driver gets to your stop, it will be marked as missing

  • Here are some recommendations to help manage the issue:

    1. Balance the compost: Include materials like brown paper bags or dry leaves into your compost. This will help regulate moisture levels and discourage flies.

    2. Cover the compost: Ensure your composting bucket has a tight-fitting lid to prevent fly access. Press down firmly on the lid until you hear a "click" to ensure it is properly sealed.

    3. Bury fresh scraps: Bury fresh food scraps beneath existing compost materials to create a barrier that discourages flies from reaching the surface.

    4. Avoid certain food waste: Please remember that we do not accept meat, dairy products, and oily items in our composting service. Refer to our Compostable Materials Poster to see what we accept.

    5. Consider weekly pick-up: You have the option to switch from the bi-weekly pick-up service to the weekly pick-up service, allowing us to switch the pink bucket for a clean one every week.
